Our house is a rambler with a full basement on about 1/3 of an acre. It's about 15 years old and has some things that need some updating, like the flooring and fixtures. My favorite features are the fenced back yard, the fireplaces, and the hot tub (which we haven't started up yet). It was pretty hard finding a house that fit both Paul's and my taste. He wanted a fixer upper with investment potential and I wanted something we could be happy in right now. When we found this one we knew it was the one. I'll post a few pictues, but I'll post more once we've done some of our projects and when everything is all unpacked and organized.
The first thing I did when we moved in was take down all the curtains. So much better without them. This is the living room when you first come in.
Kitchen/dining room area, door to the back yard, stairs to the basement. Backyard view from the dining room.

How exciting! I love the yard too, the girls will enjoy it. HAving a house is a lot of work but totally worth it. I thought about you this morning when I went running at 5am. Remember our winter running days? Can't wait to see more pics.
