The beach

Well, I finally posted some pictures of when we went to the beach in Florida. Lauryn was a little skeptical of the water at first, but then she started loving it. It was a little cold to go in, but we splashed around a little. Lauryn loved when the waves would come up on her feet and walking around in the sand.

Playing

We had a great time while we were in Florida. Lauryn loved playing with her cousins on the Pahulu side. While we were there Paul's brother blessed his new baby Aubrey Jade Pahulu. She is such a sweet and happy little girl. While we were there Paul and I also took advantage of the free babysitting and went out to dinner a couple of times and out to see a movie. The other highlights of the trip were going to an arcade, doing some major shopping at the malls, going to the zoo, playing ALOT of Playstation and X-Box (more of a highlight for Paul than for me :)), and eating, eating, eating! We also went to the beach, but I'll talk about that more in the next post!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas vacation this year. We spent 15 days with Paul's family in Florida. I'm going to show our vacation in three different posts because I took alot of pictures. This one is about Christmas Eve and Day. On Christmas Eve we went to Paul's Aunt and Uncle's house for dinner with the extended family. As usual we got hooked up with money and ornaments from Paul's Grandma and Grandpa and Great Uncle Don. Santa even stopped by and gave Lauryn a present. Lauryn was peer pressured into sitting on his lap but cried the whole time.

On Christmas morning we opened presents at Paul's parent's house. Almost all of them were for Lauryn since she was the only grandchild there in the morning. Of course, she was spoiled like crazy. I think her favorite present was a little puppy from Grandma and Grandpa that barks jingle bells and rocks on a sled. She keeps giving it kisses and holding it. Paul and I also got hooked up with more money and some rocking stockings! Later that day Paul's brother Charlie and his wife Julie and their two girls Hailey and Aubrey came over for dinner and more presents. It was another wonderful Christmas spent with those we love. So, the only pictures of Lauryn opening presents were her stocking presents and the first one she opened because I got too into watching her. But here are the ones I got!
